    A host travel agency is a company that provides support and resources to independent travel agents. When you join our host agency, you'll have access to our credentials to book travel (CLIA), supplier relationships, booking tools, training, and more. You can operate your travel business under our umbrella while enjoying the benefits of affiliation and community.
  • Who can join Waiters Travel Consulting?

  • What support and resources do you provide to travel advisors?
    WTC offers a wide range of support, including access to our industry connections, dedicated Membership Space, technology tools, marketing assistance, training programs, monthly calls, and administrative support. We are also affiliated with the Travel Leaders Consortia. We're committed to helping you succeed in your travel business.
  • Do I have to recruit other agents or build a team? Is this an MLM?
    Absolutely not. We are solely focused on building your travel business.
  • What can I book as a travel agent of WTC?
    As a travel agent of WTC, you have access to book flight & hotel packages, hotel accommodations, cruises, vacation homes/villas, and excursions for domestic and international locations.
  • Will I have my own business with Waiters Travel Consulting?
    Yes, as an agent with WTC, you will operate as an independent contractor under your own business and business name.
  • What is the commission split?
    As an agent of WTC, you'll start with a competitive commission split, beginning at 75%. This means that you'll earn 75% of the commissions generated from bookings made through our agency's supplier relationships. We also offer an exciting opportunity for dedicated advisors to increase their commission split. Once you have reached $5k in commission for the previous calendar year, you have the potential to qualify for an enhanced commission split of up to 85%. Once you reach 85% commission level, you will remain at that level. We value your commitment and aim to reward your hard work and loyalty.
  • After signing up, what is the first thing I should do?
    Once you join WTC, start by exploring our Membership Space and begin your mandatory orientation course. After completing the course, you'll need to pass our quiz to confirm you've grasped the basics. Once these steps are completed, you'll gain access to our Vendor Sign-Up sheet, allowing you to register with our vendors and start booking travel.
  • Is there a fee to join your host agency, and what are the contractual obligations?
    Joining our host travel agency involves two primary fees: Sign-up Fee: There is an initial sign-up fee of $149 to become an affiliated travel advisor with our agency. This fee covers the administrative and onboarding costs associated with your affiliation. Monthly Fee: We charge a monthly fee of $49 to maintain your affiliation and access the support, resources, and services provided by our host agency. Importantly, we want to highlight that there is no long-term contract tying you to our agency. We believe in offering flexibility to our agents, allowing you to manage your affiliation according to your needs and goals.   • Is there a booking quota for your travel advisors?
    Yes, to maintain your affiliation with our host agency, we do have a booking quota in place. Our advisors are required to make a minimum of one booking per quarter (four bookings per year). This quota helps ensure active participation and engagement within our network.

  • When can I enroll in WTC and how can I stay updated on the enrollment periods?
    At Waiters Travel, we offer three enrollment periods each year: March, June and September from the 1st to the 7th of the month. To stay informed about these enrollment windows and to receive the latest updates, we encourage you to join our waitlist.
